Chicago....and all that jazz!

Last month I got to go to Chicago to present my research for a couple of days.  Tyler came with me and we had a great time.  My best friend from high school who now lives in Chicago took us to a yummy mexican restaurant, Frontera Grill which is one of Rick Bayless' restaurants and voted one of the best in Chicago.  We also got to see her sweet baby boy. Thanks Debra!

We took an architectural boat tour down the Chicago River and out on Lake Michigan. Chicago is a very diverse city full of culture and amazing architecture.  Denver seriously pales in comparison.

This building is so large that it has its own zip code!

We ate at a fabulous and very popular pizzeria called Gino's pizza.  We had an early dinner and didn't have to wait more than 30 minutes to be seated, but when we left there was a huge line.  It went all the way down the ally.  Glad we got there early!

Thuggin' it on the train.  This is how we got around Chicago without a car.

Unfortunately it was raining the day we went to Millennium Park, but we still had a good time.
