Tyler's Valentine's Day

I know this is late, but I wanted to post my reciprocation for Tyler's sweet gift for Valentine's Day. Thank goodness I had been working with the girls to make a great Valentine's Day surprise for our men. I really needed to live up to what Tyler got me (see post below if you haven't already)

So we told the boys we had plans as a group for Valeninte's Day, but we weren't going to tell them what they were until that night. let me tell you, I've never met such a big bunch of stinkers. They were seriously such babies trying to con out of us what we were doing.

We brought them over to the Cooks, loaded them in one car and us girls in another car, then told them they were going on a scavenger hunt, gave them a clue, then drove off.

Here's some of the places the went and things they had to do.
-Go to 24 hour fitness, do push ups, sit ups, and ride the bike before receiving the next clue
-Go to Jimmy Johns-Make your wife a flower out of materials provided (see below)

-Go to Embassy Suites, make a card for your wife out of supplies provided
-Go to Golf Galaxy and make a hole in one before getting the next clue
-Go to Red Robin, pick out a balloon in your wife's favorite color
-Text your wife something sweet after clues 2 and 5

So when they returned home they had hand-made car, flowers, and a balloon for their wife. Fun!

They filmed the whole thing and it was a blast to watch! The best part was they went to Archivers (a scrap-booking store) instead of Embassy Suites. They were asking everyone there if they had a clue but no one knew what they were talking about. The look on their faces when they realized they were at the wrong spot was priceless!

it was also fun to get texts as they went. Tyler's text: "Did you wash your pants with windex cause I can see myself in them?" and "You taste better than my salami torpedo" (that's a jimmy john's sub for all of you who have your mind in the gutter!)

When they got back to the house we had cheese fondue and heart shaped pizza. YUMMY! Dessert? Chocolate fondue with lots of goodies!! Ended the night watching Couples Retreat. We had a great time. Love you baby!
